Your CCB executive is actively working on setting up the 2021 Season with our traditional first ride on the third Sunday in April. Naturally, we will only start once the health department turns on the green light. The date for the Opening Meeting is not yet set; it probably will be a virtual meeting, as was the 2020 AGM.
2021 Registration
The planned opening for registration is February 1, 2021. Remember, renewal is free for all 2020 members, but you must still renew by April 1, 2021 to take advantage of the free renewal.
CCB Logo – Feedback Needed
Fifty years soon to be celebrated in 2022, a new Anniversary Jersey is in the planning. And with this comes the opportunity to redesign not only the jersey but our CLUB LOGO! We turn to you, our members, to seek out the creatives amongst you who would like to partake in designing a New LOGO Design. Designs, be they computerized or by pen (scanned) are welcome. Let’s see what you’ve got!
Everyone wishing to submit a New CLUB LOGO or two, can email their work to mailto:ccb50anniv@gmail.com
Deadline for submitting your new logo, is set for January 31, 2021.
CCB Ride Distances – Feedback needed
Your Touring committe is asking for your feedback on what could be done to improve the group rides for the faster riders (e.g. 30 km/h and above) in our club.
In a “typical” cycling season, i.e. not pandemic, and focusing on Sunday group rides:
- Are there rides that you would like to see added or returned to? Please be as specific as you can (including starting point, distance, and elevation)
- Please share any other suggestions/comments you may have.
Send your feedback on these two points by replying to this email or send them directly to me
Also note that we are already working on solutions for providing shorter (30-50km) ride options through the year.
Have a safe and enjoyable winter.
